Milk, offered as an add-on for the bowls and drinks that ask for it. Poured over soaked garri it softens the sharpness and turns the whole thing creamy, and stirred into pap it does the same job.

It is a small addition that changes the character of a bowl completely, which is why regulars rarely skip it. Useful too with tea or coffee taken alongside a meal. Prices are in RWF.
