Plantain
Sweet, soft, caramelised at the edges. Our plantain collection runs from dodo, the fried ripe plantain that Nigerians will happily eat with anything, to boli, the roasted plantain sold on street corners back home, plus crisp plantain chips, spiced fried plantain with pepper and ginger, and firmer unripe plantain for those who prefer it savoury.
Order it as a side with rice, jollof or stew, or eat a plate on its own. It is a favourite with children, with vegetarians, and with anyone in Kigali meeting West African food for the first time. Prices are in RWF. Join us at the restaurant in Remera, collect at the counter, or ask for delivery to your door.
