Nkwobi and Isi-Ewu are the two great Igbo delicacies, prepared in the same style: meat cooked until tender, then folded through a thick, spiced palm oil sauce and finished with sliced onions and utazi leaves. Nkwobi uses cow foot, Isi-Ewu uses goat head, and both arrive rich, peppery and meant to be eaten slowly.
Traditionally served in a wooden bowl with a cold drink alongside. Spice level is high. Please tell us which of the two you want when you place your order.
