Ewedu is the Yoruba classic. Jute leaves are cooked down until they turn smooth, deep green and gently drawing, seasoned lightly so the leaf itself stays in front. It is mild rather than fiery, which makes it easy to eat with almost anything.
This is the assorted version, built on the mix of cuts Nigerians call assorted meat, typically shaki and ponmo alongside beef, simmered until tender so every spoonful has something to chew. Serve it the traditional way with amala, or with eba, semo or fufu. Prices are in RWF.
