Where to Buy a Premium Yoghurt Parfait in Kigali

You can buy a Premium Yoghurt Parfait from Jollof Bistro at 13 KG 176 St, Remera, Kigali, for 10,500 RWF a 500ml tub. We make them fresh every morning with Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit and our own granola, and you can order on VubaVuba or direct by WhatsApp or phone on 0784 102 706. We open daily 8:00 to 23:30 for dine in, pickup and delivery across Kigali.

What is actually inside the parfait?

A parfait is layered yoghurt, fruit and granola in a tub. Ours is 500ml, a proper breakfast for one or a shared dessert for two. Here is the full label:

  • Greek yoghurt
  • Fresh fruits
  • Our signature homemade granola blend
  • Honey
  • Condensed milk and evaporated milk

It contains oats, nuts and seeds, so ask us first if you have a nut allergy. In the granola and on top you will usually find coconut shavings, raisins, cashews and almonds.

The fruit changes with the market that morning. Some days it is green and red apple with grapes, some days strawberry is good and we use plenty of it. Want a specific fruit? Tell us the day before. Ordering is on the Premium Yoghurt Parfait page, and the rest is in the Parfaits and Dessert Jars collection.

Yoghurt parfait price in Kigali

Some parfait sellers in Kigali sell only through Instagram posts, with no real webpage to check. Here is ours, next to what the same tub costs through a marketplace.

Item Size Price Where
Jollof Bistro Premium Yoghurt Parfait 500ml tub 10,500 RWF Our shop in Remera, our website, VubaVuba
The same tub, resold on the Isokko marketplace 500ml tub 12,950 RWF Isokko app
Granola on its own 500g roughly 14,000 to 18,000 RWF Sold around Kigali
Parfait trays for offices and events By the tray Quoted per order, bulk pricing direct WhatsApp or phone

That second row needs explaining, because it is not a competitor. It is our own parfait, resold through the Isokko marketplace at 12,950 RWF. Marketplaces add their own margin, which is normal and how they stay in business. It does mean the identical 500ml tub costs 2,450 RWF less when you buy it from us directly.

Now the granola line. A 500g bag of granola alone runs around 14,000 to 18,000 RWF here. Add Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey and the milk, and 10,500 RWF for a finished 500ml tub is fair. The granola is the expensive part, which is why parfaits cost what they cost in Kigali.

Ordering on VubaVuba, or direct from us

All our products are on VubaVuba, parfaits included. It is the app most people here already have and it works well, so if that is your habit, use it. We pack the same tub either way.

Direct is better for a few things:

  • You are talking to the kitchen. Ask what fruit came in this morning.
  • You want it a certain way. Less condensed milk, no raisins, extra granola.
  • You need bulk. Wholesale and tray pricing only exists on the direct line.
  • You are planning an event. Trays and timing are easier to arrange in a conversation.

To order direct, message our WhatsApp or call 0784 102 706. We compared both routes in Nigerian food on VubaVuba or order direct, and delivery is explained in how food delivery in Kigali works.

Parfait trays for offices, events and gyms

Nobody here writes about this part, so plainly: we make parfaits in trays. Office breakfast meetings, baby showers, hotel spreads, gyms, training days where people arrive hungry at 8:00.

Trays are quoted by the tray, not per tub. Tell us the date, the head count and where it is going, and we will send a quote on WhatsApp. The earlier you ask, the better, because the fruit is bought fresh that morning.

Wholesalers are welcome. If you run a cafe or hotel breakfast and want parfaits supplied regularly, call and we will set a standing price. Our post on catering for parties, events and office lunches covers the bigger jobs.

How long does a parfait keep?

Keep it refrigerated and eat it soon after opening. We make them fresh daily, so a parfait is best the day you buy it. The granola stays crunchy while the tub is sealed and cold, then softens in the yoghurt, which some people prefer. Collecting at 8:00 for an office that eats at 10:00? Say so and we pack it cold.

What else to order with it

An Icecream Cake Jar comes out of the same chiller if you want something sweeter, or take a cake from the Cakes collection if the tray is for a birthday. On a breakfast run add an Immunity Shot from the Wellness collection. Come see us in Remera, 8:00 to 23:30 daily, or use the contact page.

Why we sell the parfait as breakfast, not dessert

A parfait usually gets ordered here as something sweet after lunch. That is fine by us. But the reason we build it in a 500ml tub with a lid is that it works better in the morning, eaten at your desk at 8:00 or in the car on the way to a meeting.

The base is Greek yoghurt, and Greek yoghurt is strained, which takes out much of the watery whey. That is why it is thicker than regular yoghurt, and why, spoon for spoon, it carries more protein. Put oats, cashews and almonds on top of that from the granola and you have something that stays with you, which is a different job from a slice of cake. No protein powder goes anywhere near it.

Here is the part most sellers skip. We do not print a protein figure on our parfait, because we have never had it lab tested. Numbers get invented on food labels all the time, and we would rather give you the ingredients and let you judge: Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, our own granola, honey, condensed milk and evaporated milk. The day we pay for a real test, we will publish whatever it says.

There is honey in the tub, plus condensed milk and evaporated milk, so it is sweet. This is breakfast, not diet food. If you want it toned down, ask us when you order direct and we will tell you what is possible that morning. It also contains dairy, oats, nuts and seeds, so check with us first if there is a nut allergy in the house.

A 500ml tub is 10,500 RWF and we make them fresh every morning. Order from the Premium Yoghurt Parfait page, message us on WhatsApp or call 0784 102 706.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Premium Yoghurt Parfait cost in Kigali?

Jollof Bistro sells a 500ml Premium Yoghurt Parfait for 10,500 RWF in Remera, Kigali. The same tub resold through the Isokko marketplace is listed at 12,950 RWF, because marketplaces add their own margin, so buying direct saves you 2,450 RWF. Several other Kigali sellers offer parfaits only through Instagram posts with no webpage, so their prices are hard to compare.

What is in a Jollof Bistro Premium Yoghurt Parfait?

The Jollof Bistro parfait contains Greek yoghurt, fresh fruits, a signature homemade granola blend, honey, condensed milk and evaporated milk. It contains oats, nuts and seeds, including cashews and almonds in the granola. The fruit changes daily with the market and commonly includes apple, strawberry and grapes.

Can you buy a Premium Yoghurt Parfait on VubaVuba in Kigali?

Yes. Jollof Bistro lists all of its products on VubaVuba, including the 500ml Premium Yoghurt Parfait at 10,500 RWF. You can also order direct on WhatsApp at 0784 102 706, which is the route for bulk trays, wholesale pricing or a custom request, because those are arranged with the kitchen rather than through an app.

How long does a Premium Yoghurt Parfait last in the fridge?

A Premium Yoghurt Parfait should be kept refrigerated and eaten soon after opening. Jollof Bistro makes parfaits fresh every morning, so they taste best on the day of purchase. The granola stays crunchy while the tub is sealed and cold, and softens once it sits in the yoghurt.

Can I order parfaits in bulk for an office breakfast in Kigali?

Yes. Jollof Bistro makes yoghurt parfaits in trays for offices, events, gyms, hotels and breakfast meetings in Kigali, quoted by the tray rather than per tub. Bulk and wholesale pricing is arranged direct on WhatsApp or by phone on 0784 102 706. Earlier notice helps for large orders, because the fruit is bought fresh each morning.
