Suya

Suya is grilled meat with a purpose. Thin cut beef or chicken is threaded on skewers, rubbed in yaji, the groundnut and pepper spice blend, then grilled over open fire and served with raw onion, tomato and more spice on the side. This collection holds our beef suya, chicken suya, gizzard suya and mixed skewer platters.

It is the evening order. Nigerians in Kigali know it already, expats get converted quickly, and it goes with a cold drink better than almost anything else on the menu. Prices are in RWF. Eat it hot at our tables in Remera, collect at the counter, or send it out on a Kigali delivery.
